Pentecost Sunday is May 31st. It is a day to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2: 1-31).  Pentecost is understood as the Birthday of the Church, the start of the church’s mission to the world.  

As is the trend for birthdays during this time of quarantine, we want to mark the birthday of the Church with our own drive-by celebration! Dress in red, make a “Happy Birthday Church” sign, gather some red streamers, decorate your car or just come and honk as you drive your car slowly into the parking lot of the church. 

Pastor Stefanie will be wearing a red mask and waving our beloved dove kite over your cars as you snake your way through the church parking lot.  Ambassadors of the church, some of our long-time members, will also be there to greet you safely from within their cars. We wish there could be hugs and handshakes but exchanging waves and smiles will be a blessing as well.
